J. Cabral Almeida began in 2010 as a winemaker’s quest to show the rich diversity of the portuguese terroirs. The place where it all started was the Vinhos Verdes wine region.
Meet João Cabral Almeida
João (our winemaker and Founder) has roots deep in the winemaking world.
He is the youngest of 8 siblings. In one way or another, they are all connected to the wine world.
After several years working for very important winemakers in Portugal João founded his winery in 2010.
